Yoga and Massage
Massage offers an opportunity for bonding. Gentle, relaxing touch is a great non - verbal way to communicate. It can also relax tight muscles and other soft tissues and help with circulation.
Begin by lowering the lights put on some relaxing music, light a nice smelling candle. Heat up a wheat/rice sock. Gently and slowly roll the warm wheat sock over your childs body, starting with the hands or feet and working your way around the body. Hopefully you should both begin to feel calm and relaxed.
