Visual Supports

Included in the Home Learning packs we sent home a few weeks ago were some examples of visual supports we find useful when supporting the pupils in school. Visual supports can range from actual objects, photographs, pictures and symbols and we use them all in class.  Visual supports enable the pupils to interact,  make choices and express their needs and wants. Visual supports also help the pupils with their understanding of routines, activities and transitions. Included are some examples of some of how we use visual supports in class.
