Bear Craft

If you have some extra paper plates lying around, grab two to make a sweet little paper plate bear craft! This craft involves steps with cutting and painting so your child will need some help and guidance. Have fun!

Materials Needed:

  • Paper plates
  • Brown paint or brown fabrics/materials
  • Paintbrush
  • White/tan paper
  • Black marker
  • Glue/tape
  • Scissors

Start by cutting a piece out of the bottom of a paper plate making it look like the bear's "feet" on each side. Then take another paper plate and cut out the middle circle leaving two ear shapes on top.

Support your child to paint or decorate with fabrics/matericals (gluing and sticking) the paper plates. From the scraps cut out a small tail as well.

Cut an oval out of tan/white paper and draw a nose/mouth on it. Take some white paper and make two eyes.

Finish off the craft by taping or gluing the pieces together.
