-retell narratives or information that they have heard

-apply the following reading strategies with increasing independence:

   - phonic strategies to decode words

   - recognition of high-frequency words

 

Maths and Numeracy:

-use number facts within 10, i.e.:  bonds of 10, e.g. 6 + 4

-find small differences within 20 by using ‘counting on’ strategies
