Ty Gwyn Special School

"Learning To Achieve"

Dyfi

Hi Everyone, just wanted to let you know how our home schooling is going to happen at this difficult time.

Routine is essential for our pupils so we have decided to make up a home timetable similar to our class weekly timetable with similar activities for you to do at home.

Firstly we will upload a home timetable, this will not change over the coming weeks but the activities and focus on learning will. Each week (Sunday Evening) I will upload relevant activities for the pupils to access and work through, together with guidance for parents.

The “Ty Gwyn Resources” page under the pupil area has a wide range of resources for you to access at any time.

A work pack containing a variety of  resources was send home and will help in the coming weeks.

Please check in to Dosbarth Dyfi Class page regularly, as more ideas, resources and work tasks will be uploaded weekly.

We don’t want to overwhelm you at this unsettling time and  there is no pressure on completing all the tasks. You know your child best, we are trying to provide as much a normal school routine as possible and provide you with resources that your child enjoys as well as learning.

Please take care and keep safe
