Due to the current school closure, activity packs have been sent home.
We had plans to be Wizards in Science and transform materials into sensory activities for the pupils to feel and play with. Links to these messy play ideas are below as well as other resources to help the pupils make sense of their day and to be able to hear familiar Music and songs such as those provided by Andy Pidcock our Music therapist. Some of the messy play ideas include Gloop, sensory rice, colourful pasta and easter ideas .
All are easy to make and it would be helpful if you could use Welsh colours of red, white and green when recipe requires food colouring e.g. in rice play. Any Welsh Music played or items seen on a walk such as Daffodils being pointed out is helpful, in promoting the pupils' Welsh identity and the fact that they live in Wales.
This page will be updated regularly with ideas and activities for this topic and after Easter for,"Watch us Grow!"if the school has to remain closed.
Take care of each other and hope to see you soon,
Team Eirlys Jackie,Rachel, Claire and Jan x
Welcome to/Croeso I Dosbarth Eirlys
This half term we have been learning that, "Wales is Magical!" We learnt about Welsh Dragons and Castles and made a wonderful 3D display of these. We celebrated World Book Day with a Welsh focus, taking part in a Welsh Story Massage Session and Welsh sensory stories from Dave Morris. We also had an exciting Welsh language performance from Martyn Geraint which we all enjoyed! We also had fun dressing up as Welsh boys and girls and dancing to Welsh Folk Music.
Welcome to Dosbarth Eirlys. Happy New Year Everyone !
This half term we are learning about Raindrops and Snowflakes. Keep visiting our page to see what we are doing throughout the year.
