HELLO!

Welcome to our class page. Here you will find lots of activities that you can access from past years.

In addition to our class page, you will find lots of excellent resources by following the link below:

The NHS and NAS have provided useful information for supporting families at home

Home Learning Schedules

We understand that your child may not feel like participating in lots of learning activities at home. However, if your child benefits from structure and routine in their day, or if you are keen for them to continue with their education as best as they can from home, you can create a home learning schedule. You can create your own schedule using Widgit Online. Click the link below to register for your free 21 day trial. You can use this website to create all sorts of symbols, sentences, flash cards and timetables if your child benefits from using visual supports at home.

Expressive Arts activity- making an NHS Rainbow

Still image for this video
As part of this weeks activities based around 'Hobbies and Interests' and 'Taking part in new creative activities', we thought it would be nice if pupils made a Rainbow to go in the window at home. Explain to pupils that it is a way of saying thank you to all of the Key workers during this time.
Possible targets to achieve include:
LB + NC: Take part in an activity with others and talk about what they are doing
AB, JW + JA: Picks up more than one object when asked for two
Express some enjoyment or interest
KS + JJ: Select appropriate equipment and resources.
Additional targets:
LNF Nursery Rec: Sort and Classify using one criterion
LNF Literacy Rec: Show that they have listened to others by drawing a picture

Printable Resources

If you have access to a printer, there are plenty of great websites that are currently providing free resources for parents.

Our upcoming topic will be 'Hobbies and Interests' so you may use this as a reference point when finding resources if you like.

Team Twmpa will regularly be adding and updating our favourite resources!

Stories

Interactive stories are a great way for pupils to have access to language and expressive arts. See below for links to interactive story websites:
